Novak Provides Community Support by Offering Event Recycling and Waste Disposal
Novak Sanitary Service is your community waste management company. Throughout the years, Novak has been active in giving community support. Why? Because we realize that our neighbors, our friends, and our families are also our customers, and we want to give back to the community which has given us so much. We are honored and truly grateful to have been a part of these community events and provide event recycling. Sponsoring and providing community support at local events is our way of thanking the community for supporting us. Summer might be winding down, but that doesn’t mean that fun has to stop. Novak is proud to be a part of and offer event recycling at the upcoming events in September, and we look forward to seeing you all at them.
Lifelight Festival: September 4 - 6, 2015
Since 2004, Novak Sanitary Service has been providing community support for the Lifelight Festival. Located on a farm just outside Worthing, SD, you’ll find more than corn and soybeans growing. Discover new music and meet new friends. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you have been, we want you to join us for a weekend you’ll never forget! This is the largest and most well-known aspect of the Lifelight ministry and is faithfully offered at no cost to the public. Beginning on a church lawn for one night in 1998, it has since become one of the nation’s largest music festivals. Held annually over Labor Day weekend, the festival attracts hundreds of thousands of people from all over the country and world. Novak is proud to offer event recycling and waste disposal for the Lifelight Festival.
Sioux Falls Germanfest: September 12, 2015
Novak Sanitary Service has shown community support for Germanfest and the efforts of Sister Cities since 2007. Sister Cities is a viable means of creating positive social change and urges countries around the world to share and understand their culture through such relationships. We are raising funds in order to create scholarships for students and support other cultural relationships. The event is organized by a small group of volunteers who want to give back to the community by having a free festival for everyone to attend. Although we are a small town, Sioux Falls is filled with big hearts. It's the people of Sioux Falls who can make one small event worthwhile. In respect to the City of Sioux Falls Parks Department NO glass allowed in the park. Novak realizes that recycling is a global effort, which is why we offer event recycling and waste disposal at this event. Vendors from all over will present authentic German food and drinks. Come join Novak and show your community support for a day of great food and drinks, puppet shows, Dachshund races, and live bands.
World's Largest Truck Convoy: September 25 & 26, 2015
Novak Sanitary Service has been supporting this event since 2011. The World’s Largest Truck Convoy is a unique one-day celebration of the trucking industry and its support of Special Olympics. Local law enforcement makes special dispensation and escorts a convoy of trucks up to 50 miles through their town. The World’s Largest Truck Convoy raises awareness and funding for the Special Olympics in South Dakota. The World’s Largest Truck Convoy also holds a poker tournament, which raises additional funds for the South Dakota Special Olympics.
Truckers meet at a staging location and are escorted in convoy to a predetermined destination, such as a raceway, fairgrounds or truck stop, where they are welcomed by the Special Olympics community - athletes, families, friends, colleagues, law enforcement officers, and the organizations, companies and agencies that make up the trucking industry. A celebration - a picnic, barbecue, awards ceremony, etc. is held to recognize participating truckers and the support of the trucking industry. Whatever form the celebration takes, the message is the same: "Thank you for your support of Special Olympics athletes and for keeping our communities moving!" Novak is proud to offer event recycling and waste disposal at this event.
