Yard Waste

Yard Waste (grass clippings, leaves, etc.) is only accepted as a separate item at the landfill. We collect yard waste on the same day as your regular service, although separate from household garbage and recyclables.

• Yard waste collection is available from April 1 to November 30
• No plastic bags will be accepted
• Grass clippings and leaves may be thrown into the cart if bagged - be sure to secure them tightly
• Sticks, pine needles, and sod may be included in your regular garbage and are NOT considered yard waste

We offer 2 options for yard waste removal:

1. Weekly Collection: base rate of $19/month
   • 96-gallon cart: We will deliver this to your house.
   • Weekly pickup: Cart will be emptied the same day our haulers collect your garbage (be sure to have cart visible from the street by 6 a.m. the regular trash collection day).
   • Additional yard waste*: If you have more yard waste than the cart allows, you may use Kraft-type paper bags.
   Contact us to make arrangements for weekly yard waste collection. For those customers who still have a cart from the previous year, your service will automatically start April 1 unless we are otherwise instructed.
2. On-Call Service
   • Yard waste bags with tags*: All bags must be tagged (minimum of two bags)
   • No cart will be provided
   • Collection: Yard waste will be collected on the same day as trash collection. YOU MUST CALL OUR OFFICE NO LATER THAN 12 p.m., the day prior to your collection day. If your call is not received on time, the yard waste will not be picked up until the following week

*Bags must be tagged - Tags are $2.75 each, and may be purchased via phone, through the mail, or at our office. Extra 96-gallon cart: additional $14.80/month
